‘কুরআন-সুন্নাহর আলোকে শবে বরাত: ফযীলত ও আমল’ বইয়ের ভূমিকাঃ بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم. الحمد لله رب العالمين، والصلاة والسلام على النبي الأمي محمد وعلى آله وأصحابه أجمعين. أما بعد
শবে বরাত বা “মধ্য-শা’বানের রাত”-এর মর্যাদা সম্পর্কে অনেক কথা সমাজে প্রচলিত। মুসলিমগণ এ রাতে বিশেষ ইবাদতে মগ্ন হয়ে পড়েন। মীলাদমাহফিল, ওয়ায-নসীহত, বিশেষ মুনাজাত, তাবারুক বিতরণ, কবর যিয়ারত ও বিশেষ সালাতে মুসল্লীরা মগ্ন থাকেন এ রাতে। কিন্তু এ রাতের ফযীলতে কথিত এ সকল বক্তব্য কতটুকু নির্ভরযোগ্য এবং এ রাতের বিশেষ ইবাদত কুরআনসুন্নাহর আলোকে কতটুকু গ্রহণযোগ্য বা গুরুত্বের দাবীদার তা নিয়ে আলিম সমাজে বিভিন্ন বক্তব্য ও মতভেদ রয়েছে। এ বিষয়কে কেন্দ্র করে মুসলমানরা বিভিন্ন গ্রুপে বিভক্ত হয়ে পড়েন এবং অনেক সময় গালাগালি ও শত্রুতায় লিপ্ত হয়ে পড়েন।
এ সকল মতভেদ ও মতপার্থক্যের উর্ধ্বে উঠে কুরআন ও হাদীসের আলোকে এ রাতের মর্যাদা ও এ রাতের করণীয় নির্ধারণ করা এ পুস্তিকাটি উদ্দেশ্য। এতে আমরা মধ্য-শাবানের রাত্রির ফযীলত ও এ রাত্রে বা পরের দিনে পালনীয় বিশেষ ইবাদত সম্পর্কে উদ্ধৃত কুরআনের আয়াত ও মুফসিরগণের বক্তব্য আলোচনা করেছি। এরপর এ বিষয়ে বর্ণিত ও প্রচলিত সকল হাদীস উদ্ধৃত করে সেগুলির গ্রহণযোগ্যতা, বিশুদ্ধতা বা অশুদ্ধতার বিষয়ে মুহাদ্দিসগণের মতামত পর্যালোচনা করেছি। এভাবে আমরা সামগ্রিক ভাবে এ রাতে মুসলিমের করণীয় ও বর্জনীয় বিষয়গুলির সম্পর্কে সঠিক সীদ্ধান্তে উপনীত হওয়ার চেষ্টা করেছি।
এ বিষয়ক হাদীসগুলি সম্পর্কে প্রথমে আরবীতে একটি প্রবন্ধ লিখেছিলাম। পরবর্তীতে আমার সম্মানিত সহকর্মী দা’ওয়াহ বিভাগের সহযোগী অধ্যাপক ড. মো. অলী উল্যাহ প্রবন্ধটি সমৃদ্ধ করে বাংলায় রূপন্তর করেন। এ প্রবন্ধই এ গ্রন্থের মূল ভিত্তি। এ বিষয়ে একটি পৃথক বই লিখব বলে “হাদীসের নামে জালিয়াতি” গ্রন্থে উল্লেখ করেছিলাম। অনেক পাঠক বারবার গ্রন্থটি প্রকাশের জন্য তাকিদ দিচ্ছিলেন। তাদের তাকিদের প্রেক্ষাপটে তাড়াহুড়ো করেই বইটি প্রকাশ করছি।
সুন্নাতে নববীর উজ্জীবন ও প্রতিষ্ঠাই আমাদের একমাত্র উদ্দেশ্য। হাদীসে নববীর আলোকে এ রাতের ফযীলত এবং সে ফযীলত অর্জনে রাসূলুল্লাহ সা. ও সাহাবীগণের সুন্নাত পরিপূর্ণরূপে অবগত হওয়াই আমাদের প্রচেষ্টা। মহান আল্লাহর দরবারে সকাতরে প্রার্থনা করি, তিনি দয়া করে এই নগন্য কর্মটুকু “উপকারী ইলম” হিসেবে কবুল করে নিন এবং একে আমার, আমার পিতামাতা, স্ত্রী-সন্তান, আত্মীয়স্বজন ও পাঠকদের নাজাতের ওসীলা বানিয়ে দিন। আমীন!
